What it is
This script is a PHP script that will create a Priority U.S. Postal Service Open and Distribute Shipping Label WITH or WITH OUT a POSTAGE PAID PERMITT NUMBER. Open and Distribute provides fast shipping for mailers who want to expedite shipping bulk mail pieces.

System Requirements
  • An HTTP Server (Peripherally Apache).
  • PHP version 5.0 or later configured with the following options: --with-xml, --enable-zip.
  • A PDF (www.adobe.com) or TIFF Image Reader.
  • A MAILER ID (seperate from the Web Tools Account ID). To obtain a MAILER ID contact the USPS RIBBS Office at http://ribbs.usps.com or http://www.usps.com/forms/allforms.htm to obtain forms ps5051 (forms ps1357s and ps1357c opptional).
  • A USPS Shipper Permitt Number (optional)
  • A USPS (United States Postal Service) Web Tools user account and password. Available from http://usps.com/webtools or http://usps.com
  • USPS Web Tools Technical Guides. Available at http://usps.com/webtools.
  • An internet connection.
